The story of Kanavi
Kanavi has made his name known tho whole world despite drama around Griffin and his contract.
We are upon Week three of the LEC and it has gone just as expected with minor surprises thus far in the middle and bottom of the standings. G2 Esports has faces Fnatic for the first time this split as well as Rogue, coming off a win against Origin it doesn't see mas though anyone is ready to upset them. If Fnatic are able to take this game off of G2 it will surely throw the rest of the standings in turmoil. More information about the LEC League and its teams can be found on the event page. https://www.esportsvikings.fi/lol/lol-lec-2020-kevatkausi-event This is the 15th season of the recently rebranded LEC. in the last 14 seasons Fnatic have won the championship seven times and G2 Esports six times. With the previous two championships going to G2, the favorite is clear for this season. The last test for G2 this season is this match against Fnatic as there aren't many other top of the table teams left able to challenge them for the 1st place spot after week 3. The stories for both teams at the start of this season were very similar. The first week was full of mistakes, but in the second week the game looked like it should be for teams at this level. Fnatic was less fortunate in terms of the schedule and faced Origen in the opening week. On paper, Fnatic doesn't stand much of a chance after their week 1 loss to Origin. Winning this match would allow Fnatic to bring themselves toe to toe with G2, but if G2 wins, it seems very unlikely that anyone can challenge them for the regular season victory. The teams' styles of play are not too far apart but their strengths are in slightly different areas. The biggest strength of G2 Esports is their great flexibility in both roles and the Champion Pool. Also, they are really strong in mid-game decision making. Fnatic lives on to find its opponent's weaknesses and strike at them in new and surprising ways. The main problem for Fnatic may be that G2 Esports did not show any weaknesses last week. One possible place to get an advantage is in bot-lane. G2 Esports star Caps told one of his motivators on the move to bot-lane that he wants to beat his former teammate Rekkles at this place. Rekkles, however, is one of the best in the West, so if Caps is trying too hard to gain an advantage they can open up a place for Fnatic to hit. The reality is, however, that the G2 Esports game has been better than Fnatics, and has to be the clear favorites. But in a very similar situation, Fnatic met G2 twice in the playoffs last summer. Now though, anything can happen because it is a Best of One series. SK Gaming - MAD Lions A very important match for both teams. Both have goals in the playoffs and the battle for the final spots is really even. SK Gaming starts 1-3 and MAD Lions 2-2. Both have faced two teams from the top four, so their match schedule hasn't been the easiest. The significance of this victory is enormous. MAD Lions has looked like a more balanced team and has played with confidence with teams outside the top four. So it looks like the SK Gaming pit is getting even deeper. Misfits Gaming - Schalke 04 A week ago, I would have set this match up as sorting out the bottom of the table, but Misfits played a terrific second week. They convincingly crushed both Excel and SK Gaming. So they come into this match as favorites, especially since Schalke's bot lane has been trouble this season and is playing week three with Luxor, who is filling for Gillius in the jungle. Fnatic - Excel Esports Certainly an emotional match for YoungBuck, who is leading his team against his former team. Unfortunately, Excel hasn't found the tune to threaten Fnatic. Insider information can help Excel in Champion select, but it's hard to see a world where when on Summoner's Rift, they could beat Fnatic. Team Vitality - Origen Completely one-sided match. Vitality has to look for their opening win somewhere else. Rogue - G2 Esports Rogue will more than likely lose here and fall even further away from the first place spot, a week ago it may have been a more exciting matchup but after the showing last week from both teams it just seems entirely G2 sided. Schalke 04 - SK Gaming Schalke's early season has been a complete disaster and this week they have switched from Gilius to inexperienced Lurox. At least in my eyes the team's problems are not in the Jungle, but in Bot Lane and SK Gaming's strength happens to be the Bot lane. SK Gaming does not go to many matches as the favorites, but they do here unless Lurox is, unexpectedly, a factor that corrects Schalke's really massive problems. Excel Esports - Team Vitality Excel has shown really good things compared to the estimated player levels under new coaching and should easily topple Team Vitality. Team Vitality desperately needs Milica Mid lane and a whole new start to the season. The relegation games are gone, so they can focus on raising their level in peace for the summer. Excel, on the other hand, would get a very nice setup for the top-6 with this win. MAD Lions - Rogue Personally, this is perhaps the most interesting match of the week. Both have played at a solid level overall, but have also played very lousy matches. Rogue is a clear favorite on paper, but MAD Lions have really surprised me since the start of the season and are able to play a really effective game, especially in the early stages of the match. As far as Rogue is concerned, they have been seen trouble and that may be something that MAD Lions can take advantage of. A very even match, but if I had to bet on a winner, I'd put a little advantage on Rogue. Origen - Misfits Gaming Although Misfits significantly improved their play in the second week and raised themselves from the bottom to the middle of the table, they should not be a threat to Origen. Origen had a good match against G2, but with the exception of that match, they have been completely unstoppable. SK Gaming> Schalke 04 Currently, wagers can double their money, but odds may change as operators realize Schalke has changed lineup this week. SK Gaming is a clear pre-favorite here and if you can play pre-favorites with more than two odds then you should take it. LEC Spring 2020 Week 3 Preview
