The story of Kanavi
Kanavi has made his name known tho whole world despite drama around Griffin and his contract.
The LCK is back with a better schedule than before! We begin on Thursdays now and still end on Sunday. With that though we enter into our 6th week of games and have some very exciting shifts in the standings that may take place. Make sure to read below for our Match and Bet of the week as well as an idea of how the rest of the games are looking to play out this week. If you are new to the LCK make sure to check out our Tournament Page here! Our match of the week sees KT Rolster and DragonX face off and normally nobody would bat their eye at this set as DragonX are just all around the stronger team. However, we have seen DragonX fall to only one team, two weeks ago they lost KT Rolster and now they face off again in the second round robin! It was a 2-1 victory for KT but they have been on somewhat of a winning streak as of late and since they’ve done it before, they surely could do it again. SANDBOX Gaming win - Rivalry - 7.00 Look, the bookies know what they’re doing, Damwon are sure to win and everyone has it listed that way. That being said, Rivalry has the best odds for SANDBOX here where everyone else has the odds around the 5.2-6.2 range. The reason for this is that SANBOX are a wildcard team in the LCK and have picked up some upset wins. Feel free to bet on any of the safe matches but we’ve seen SANDBOX come out on top before and they are very capable of doing the same thing here. One day we will have a Bet of the Week not centered around SANDBOX though, promise. The thing about the LCK is that we have seen the best fall flat on their face, quite frankly, every region is seeing their stars struggle at the moment and that tends to make the matches far more unpredictable, even when one team “should” smash the other. DragonX are clear favorites and we agree, but KT Rolster haven’t even shown us their final form yet. KT were DragonX’s kryptonite last time around and maybe they can do it again here. Team Dynamics have slowed their explosive start and pretty much flatlined at this point. Gen.G will rejoice in an opportunity to gain some ground in the standings with this one unless TD can find their form from the start of the split. Even then, that probably wont be enough to stop Gen.G from going on a rampage. The battle of the caps lock finds itself in the hot seat for our bet of the week. Just remember to game responsibly and expect the unexpected. A little convoluted sure but Yamato promised more wins and what better way to start than with a team that far outclasses his own? Just thinking. Prince have once again found themselves in a tricky situation, though this time it is a bit trickier than before. Last split they barely dodged relegation after a strong start and here they haven’t had the same results. The Freecs will be looking for some calming champions to close out the series in a quick 2-0 fashion. This seems to be the week of absolute stomps with teams all being on opposite ends of the standings. Or at the very least, look like they’re at opposite ends of the standings. HLE have not been impressive this split and while T1 are lackluster compared to their Spring performance, it just doesn’t look like HLE’s game to win this time around. Ah here we go, a real game with two strong teams. This one’s quite the toss up but DragonX surely are looking down the barrel of a 2-0 week. All they really have to do is beat Gen.G and they’ll sail away from everyone in the standings even more than they already have. Whether or not SBG are able to upset DragonX or not this week, they will be among the teams finding respite in a game they are destined to win. Assuming they aren’t only prepping for DRX they should have very little push back from Prince and have the ability to atleast limp away with a 1-1 week. This is a tricky one, normally I am able to see that the obvious winner has to be KT. Except, Team Dynamics have already beaten KT once this split, and if i follow the same logic as i did with KT’s game against DRX, then surely TD can be favorites in this one? Call it hypocritical but i don’t think so, KT can go 2-0, and like SBX they surely will go 1-1 this week. LCK 2020 Summer Split Week 6 Preview
