The story of Kanavi
Kanavi has made his name known tho whole world despite drama around Griffin and his contract.
There were some interesting happenings last week with the betting operators having the wrong schedule but all is back on track this week and we have some things to go over before the games start on Wednesday! If you’re new to the LCK then make sure to check out our LCK Summer tournament page here! The Match of the Week is of course the Spring Split Finals rematch. We are going to be watching T1 and Gen.G face off for the first time since then and both teams currently sit at 3-1 meaning they both get an opportunity to misplace the other team by the end of the Regular season, make sure to read more below! Our Bet of the week is going to have to go with Betway who once again proves to have the best odds if not the most obvious ones, and bet behind SANDBOX Gaming against Team Dynamics. Team Dynamics have shown up big thus far while SANDBOX have fallen 0-4 but Dynamics have seen an easier schedule than SANDBOX and their first win is due now. The current odds at time of writing are 1.45 for Team Dynamics and 2.75 which just seems a bit too high to us. Make sure to check out our Betway Operator Review here! We have a lot of spicy matches this week and we start off with one of the best ones! DAMWON aren’t in the best of form but also find themselves at 3-1 coming out of week 2. We should start to see some separation in the standings after this week and the first separation should see a T1 victory move them to 4-1 before their Gen.G set. The reason it is so important for T1 to come out ahead of DAMWON is that the next series sees Gen.G take on a much easier opponent. The story arc this week is going to be very focused around who finishes higher, or who drops the ball between T1 and Gen.G and Gen.G are sitting in an advantageous position facing SANDBOX first in a match they should take easily. Hanwha Life Esports are staring last place in the face right now with the newly promoted Team Dynamics and even SeolHaeOne Prince finding a victory. If SANDBOX does manage to find some form later this week Hanwha will be fighting against relegation the rest of the split. Afreeca aren’t in the best shape however and will most likely catch a break this series and find themselves 3-2 after the fact. This could very well prove to be a humbling experience for Team Dynamics who could easily drop to 3-3 by the end of this week and while they have been on a high thus far, DragonX are a far greater team than they have faced up until this point. DragonX should easily continue their dominant run here. KT aren’t having the best of times but neither are Prince. This may be a bit of bias here but overall KT has the better players pound for pound and should walk away with a victory but this one is a little more up in the air than it may first appear, bet with caution on this series. The match of the week spoils us with the chance for one to knock the other down in the standings, but it also has the chance to see one team dominate the other like we saw in the Spring Finals. It could very well be Gen.G’s game to lose however as they have fared a bit better at first glance than T1. T1 are still too good to not bet behind however, so go with your gut on this one and enjoy the show. DAMWON should go 1-1 this week and should take this match with relative ease, especially after facing T1 earlier in the week. The difference between their two opponents is paramount and a loss here will affect their standings indefinitely. A lot of people are expecting SANDBOX to get stomped by most of the teams in the league but really, Team Dynamics may have had a good promotion tournament but SANDBOX still found their way back into the league and with the schedule they’ve had up until this point, this could be the one they were waiting for to mount their campaign. DragonX obviously have the better team all around and no amount of draft failure could give hope to Prince in this series. Will probably be a boring game that ends with DRX winning small battles and taking over the objectives to close out each game. Not every game this week is a banger, but most of them are panning out to be that way and we atleast both start and end with one. The Freecs and KT have looked pretty poor thus far and yet both should be considered around the same level, so this one is set up to end the week with a bang, and most likely a Freecs victory.
