The story of Kanavi
Kanavi has made his name known tho whole world despite drama around Griffin and his contract.
The action-packed LEC Regular Season gets its decision tomorrow, so this year's and tomorrow's matches are staggering! This week we are not choosing a match of the week, but every match affecting the standings is a match of the week and we are focusing on all of them with the same passion. More information about the league and its teams can be found on the Tournament page. Starting points for this week could be more exciting than they are today (especially if you compare to LCS last weekend), but there are still plenty of stakes to match. The most important bet is the league's fourth place, which places it at the top of the playoff chart. MAD Lions, Rogue and Misfits Gaming fight for it. In addition to this battle, Fnatic and Origen are fighting each other for the better seed in the playoffs, and of course, both of them have a look at G2 Esports as they are only one victory away. In this match there is only one team to bet on. Or maybe SK Gaming wants to keep himself away from the jumbos where he would fall for honesty. Rogue is a clear pre-favorite and this match should only serve as a warm-up while spectators are waiting for important matches. Same situation as the first match of the day. Team Vitality needs a victory to get out of the crowd, but despite last week's weak tune, Misfits is still fighting for fourth place and will be a big favorite for this match. Not a very even battle is expected. If this were the first encounter between the two teams this season, this match could be bundled in much the same way as the previous two. However, G2 players have probably slept uneasily compared to last night's first half encounter. That match completely reversed the run of the Schalke season and after winning the G2, it has lifted itself from bottom mud to five wins. Schalke is really a lot stronger than the teams preparing for their first encounter, but despite that, G2 has to see the same underachievement as last if Schalke wants to make a profit on this. So the G2 is clearly a favorite, but here I am giving a slightly higher chance to the underdog than the two previous matches of the day. Excel has spent the entire season knowing about the drop line, usually just below it. Now its chances of making the playoffs are history and it is playing for glory only. Origen, on the other hand, is still chasing G2 and wants to get away from Fnatic. On paper, Origen's slow style of play can be well suited to Excel, which has proven to be able to win matches if it gets enough ahead in the early game. However, Origen has been very good at zeroing out his opponent and so getting the lead against Origen is really hard work. Origen is a clear favorite for this match and wins it all. A really interesting battle, as both teams desperately need this win. What makes the match especially interesting is the fact that MAD Lions fell convincingly in the first encounter of the Fnatic teams. MAD Lions are currently tied for fourth place with one win over their competitors. However, it will play against Fnatic and Origen this week. In all likelihood, it needs a victory in one of these matches to bring about a situation where a tiebreaker match is needed. Honestly, MAD Lions are more likely to win at Fnatic. However, Fnatic has been in a really big blow over the last few weeks and so it is much more difficult to dump it than in the first half. However, this is the absolute highlight of the evening and it is worthwhile to open "television" at the latest for this match. Fnatic starts out as a small advance favorite, but if you get a good odds on MAD Lions, it's worth grabbing here. Although Schalke has been a full-season team all season, his touches have been convincing in the second half. Thus, the Rogue does not benefit from this so-called. "Free profit" but really have to fight for vital profit. In all likelihood, the victory will allow Rogue at least a fourth place in the tiebreaker match, and will certainly do his best to grab the Schalke scalp again this time. However, Rogue comes in this week in a two-loss streak and so there are small question marks around the winner. I do not strongly recommend betting on Schalke's winnings, but if there is one big surprise this week there is potential here. This match probably has no stake on either team, not even on the back end. So there's a small chance we'll see something like "fan service" from teams here. Excel Esports is a pre-favorite here, but if we see crazy pickups, this can turn anyway. The second encounter of Spanish pride. In the first half, Origen taught ways to young lions, but now MAD Lions desperately needs a victory to stay in fourth place, and we're sure to see an annoyed lion flock. However, Origen's dull, slow and deadly style of play is likely to dampen the MAD Lions' strikes, making Origen a clear favorite for this match. Nor can Origen slack at all, as he wants to reach G2 and avoid a tiebreaker match with Fnatic. A very one-sided show for Fnatic. Probably one of the clearest matches of the week in advance. Sure, Fnatic can sometimes surprise you, but even a traditional Fnatic throne shouldn't be enough to lose this match. The highlight of the evening. It is possible that there is no stake here or it is possible that there is really big stakes here. One way or the other, Misfits was miserable last week and G2 has lifted himself back into the mood expected of the reigning champion. G2 is a very clear advance favorite and through victory secures himself a regular season victory and gets his opponent selected for the playoffs. LEC Spring 2020 Week 9 Preview
