The story of Kanavi
Kanavi has made his name known tho whole world despite drama around Griffin and his contract.
The League of Legends European Championship played its third week's matches on Friday and Saturday. With these matches, a third of the regular season has now been played. More information about the league and its teams can be found on the event page. https://www.esportsvikings.fi/lol/lol-lec-2020-kevatkausi-event After six games, G2 Esports, sits at number 1, and Schalke 04 and Team Vitality are tied for last with an 0-6 scoreline. The battle for last place can be expected until the final round of the first half of the split where the two teams finally play each other. Rogue and Excel Gaming are just a win away from the 4 way tie for second, so the battle for the playoffs gets really hot. The best performances of week 3 were MAD Lions and Misfits Gaming, who went 2-0 on the week. MAD Lions' convincing clashes against Rogue, and Misfits Gaming's surprise win over Origen were definitely the weeks highlights. The most striking moment of the week was an interview with Schalke 04's top laner Andrei "Odoamne" Pascu after the team's sixth consecutive defeat. The decision to interview a losing team player was heavily criticized on social media, but Odoamne tweeted after the interview that he had agreed to the interview, even though there was no pressure to do so. 1. G2 Esports 6-0 2. Origen 4-2 2. MAD Lions 4-2 2. Fnatic 4-2 2. Misfits Gaming 4-2 3. Excel Esports 3-3 3. Rogue 3-3 4. SK Gaming 2-4 5. Schalke 04 0-6 5. Team Vitality 0-6 G2 Esports 1-0 Fnatic The encounter between the two biggest LEC teams did not leave anyone cold this time. Like last year, G2 went on to be a favorite but Fnatic was the only team in the summer to challenge G2. The teams know each other very well and this makes the matches very exciting. Fnatic eliminated G2 from Soraka, which Wunder had taken over perfectly, thus forcing the team to play with a more traditional combination. In the pre-match, we highlighted Fnatic as a possible surprise moment for Rekkles vs Caps bot Lane. However, Caps, who moved to Bot Lane this season, managed to withstand the pressure from Rekkles and Fnatic's mistakes around Bot Lane left Rekkles behind. Rekkles himself was really critical of his performance in the post-match studio and put the match loss largely on his own neck. Ultimately Rekkles underperformed and though the rest of his team is unable to claim perfection, he may have been the main cause of issues for his teams loss. Fnatic used to be able challenge G2 and they made a small case for themselves here albeit, a little unconvincingly. Last week, we raised the twitter game and the irony of Schalke 04. This time it's the other team's turn as this Team Vitality tweet brought a smile to the reporter's lips. LEC Spring 2020 Week 3 Review
