#HomeSweetHome is back with another week of action! The fifth iteration will see a fair amount of new teams stepping in and c0ntact Gaming and Heroic belongs to the most interesting ones. We already know a new team will win it all as the previous double champions BIG and Complexity Gaming will not participate in the fifth week. Instead teams like SMASH Esports, Team Secret, Team Spirit, c0ntact Gaming and Heroic will have to carry the role as favourites to bring home the title and the $30,000 that is awarded to the winner! $40,000 is distributed each week Picking out favourites for the fifth week of #HomeSweetHome is definitely no easy task and compared to previous weeks there is a bunch of teams who has realistic chances. We do have to highlight Secret as one of the teams who have shown the most promise in previous weeks and their constant improvements lead to a second place in the previous week. It will be hard for the team to repeat that successful run, but at their best they can beat anybody. Their group consisting of Apeks, AVEZ and Team Spirit is incredibly tough and as close as all these teams are there isn’t even a guarantee we will see Secret in the playoffs. Team Spirit participated in the first two weeks of #HomeSweetHome and did so with good results, with a spot in the grand finals being the best. Since then the team has participated in ESL One: Road to Rio CIS, which the team amazingly managed to win. Seven straight series wins was the result and when the opponents are teams like Gambit Youngsters, forZe, Winstrike and Virtus.Pro it’s hard to argue against the team being a favourite in #HomeSweetHome. Players like Leonid “chopper” Vishnyakov, Nikolay “mir” Bityukov and Artem “iDISBALANCE” Egorov have all been on fire as of late and they are already our early candidates for the MVP of this week. Honestly we could place close to the rest of the teams in this category as this week is extremely close, and while it might lack in the absolute top power level, it more than makes up for it with an incredible balanced mix of teams. Just to mention a few of the ones we believe in the most due to their current form we have: The two mentioned first are new to #HomeSweetHome, but have shown decent results as of late and considering the level of competition they are facing normally their chances should be very good heading into this tournament. Endpoint, Hard Legion Esports and SMASH Esports all have impressive showings in #HomeSweetHome earlier weeks. Hard Legion was even set to face Team Secret in the semifinal of last week, but had to drop out due to other commitments.
